• Deposit - $300/person

• Your remaining balance will be split up into equal monthly payments from deposit date to final payment date

• Remaining balance due by 4/1/2022

Please Note: Invoices are emailed monthly. You may click through on your invoice at anytime to make a payment.  Additionally, you may make a payment at any time of any amount over $100 via PayPal here. Please make sure to put your name and trip name in the comments. When making payments via PayPal, please expect an updated statement to be emailed to you within 48 business hours.

When you (and your roommate/s) are ready to make your deposits, please click this link and complete the deposit form.  If you are rooming with someone, both deposits will have to be paid in order to secure your reservation.  Once the deposit has been made, a payment schedule will be automatically generated for the remaining months until final payment.  If you fall more than three months behind in payment, your reservation is subject to cancellation.

Change & Cancellation Policy

If you think you potentially will add a roommate, you will register for the trip as single occupancy.  Please consider your bedding type (if a friend may join, you may consider requesting a double bed).  When the second person joins, you and your new roomie will be charged the current rates for double occupancy at that time (which most likely will be more than at the time of creating this webpage: September 2021).  This means that your invoice will be adjusted from the single occupancy rate at the time that you booked – to double occupancy.

Please note, once deposits are made, you are locked in with roommates. There is a $200/reservation Cultured Vacations fee for any changes (i.e. changing room type, changing names (i.e Jenn was roommate – can no longer go – now Brandi is my roommate) + any additional fees that the travel suppliers implement.

​

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

​

Travel insurance allows travelers to cancel for any reason and receive their funds back, less penalty.

​

COVID-19

• The travel landscape due to COVID-19 continues to evolve. Here are the considerations that Cultured Vacations wants to ensure all travelers are made aware of:

• At any time, requirements to travel may change and countries, airlines, resorts and vendors may require travelers to be fully vaccinated and present valid vaccine cards. Additionally, countries, airlines, and resorts may require a negative COVID-19 test to board the flight and/or gain entry to their country. If this happens, and a traveler is no longer able to attend, they may cancel their trip (as long as the cancellation occurs at least 72 hours prior to travel) and receive a refund, less the $600 penalty.

• At any time, borders may close which may prevent the trip from occurring on the originally scheduled dates. If this happens, travelers will be able to have the option of moving their trip to newly rescheduled dates OR receive a refund, less the $600 penalty.

• At the time of this quote, all resorts have COVID testing for their return flights on the resort. This situation potentially could change – where travelers may have to incur a testing fee. If this happens, Cultured Vacations will communicate the change and travelers will be responsible for paying their test.

We understand things happen sometimes and your trip is no longer feasible.  If you need to cancel your reservation, please submit your cancellation in writing via email to jenn@culturedvacations.com at least 72 hours prior to check-in time to be honored.  Any cancellations that come within the 72 hour travel window will forfeit all funds. No exceptions. There is a $600/person cancellation fee that will be assessed, and the remaining funds paid will be sent back to you in the manner in which they paid.

Please keep in mind, if you are in a roommate situation and you are cancelling, the remaining roommate will then move to single occupancy rate and will be required to pay the current single occupancy rate at the time the change is made (which is more money).

Booking with a roommate:

If you are planning to come with a friend we do NOT recommend paying your deposit until your friend is also ready to pay. Your room will not be confirmed unless you both make a deposit. The reservation must mirror your roommate's. Therefore if one person opts for travel insurance so does your roommate. 

​

Can I book my hotel on my own?

No. In order to be considered a confirmed traveler and to participate in Self Care IRL Events, you must book your hotel through Cultured Vacations.

Are flights included?

No.
